Dating conversation topics, Ice Breakers and Conversation starters!
While a conversation starter is important, the ability to continue and
follow various dating
conversation topics is equally important!
In his book
“How To Be GREAT!!! In
Conversation” W. Paul Barton defines good conversation as “A give and
take that is interesting to each party and allows and encourages participation
by each party.”

Dating service profiles are gold mines for dating conversation topics,
conversation starters and ice
breakers.
By checking the profile of the person that you are corresponding with you can
find common interests.
Apply the interviewers’ technique of: What, When, Where, How and Why.
For example:
I noticed that you like dancing.
What type of dancing do you prefer?
How often do you go dancing?
When you go out dancing do you prefer to dance all night or just to your
favorite tunes?
Don’t come across like a lawyer or inquisitive parent, but do ask questions.
People like to talk about themselves; even if a few claim that they don’t!
By asking others questions based on their profile, they are never embarrassed by
not knowing the answer!
Dating conversation topics are easier to come up with if you have met through a
Christian dating service.
The church and religion add a plethora of conversation starters and dating
conversation topics.
What gives most meaning to your life?
Does God (or a Higher Power) seem personal to you?
Do you feel close to God?
What is your picture of God?
How is God working in your life right now?
Are you comfortable with God's guidelines and laws for living?
Do you feel God has a plan for your life?
Do you read the Bible?
Does Bible reading help in living?
Is prayer a meaningful part of your devotional life?
Do you feel you are growing spiritually?
Are you involved in a church?
Is your church helpful to you?
Do you attend the worship services of your church?
What do you like most about its teachings?
Are you a member of any group in your church?
Really listening to the other person, and following up with relevant open ended
questions based on what they have said will qualify you as an excellent
conversationalist. "Gossips talk to you about others. Bores talk to you about themselves.
But good conversationalists always talk to you about yourself." -Anonymous
